Obituary: GEORGE W. RIEBESEHL George W. Rlebesehl, 93, of Hamler died Thursday, Nov. 14 at Holgate Quality Care. He was bom In Holgate, Oct. 26, 1898, to Henry C. and Catherine (Prigge) Riebesehl. On Nov. 13. 1924, he married Ella Schnarsky, who preceded him In death Dec. 2, 1982. He had been an engineer with the B & O Railroad for many years, retiring in 1963, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Hamler's Hope Lutheran Church. Surviving are two sons, Robert of Portland, Ore., and George of Schaumburg. Ill.; a daughter, Kay Zeller of Ottawa; a sister, Martha O'Fallon of Holgate; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded In death by three brothers and two sisters. Services were held at Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler. Rev. Norman Norden officiated.
