Verl D. Reimund, 67, of Rt. 5, Napoleon, died Jan. 5 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo. He had been in failing health for two months. He was born Sept. 6, 1919 in Damascus Township to Ernest and Carra (Myers) Reimund. He married Ellen Rearick on Aig. 2, 1944 and she survives. Also surviving are one son, Robert, of Deshler; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Janet) Whitman and Mrs. Bernie (Jayne) Gustwiller, both of Rt. 5, Napoleon; six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Maurice (Lois) Reed of Rt. 1, Deshler. Reimund was a retired farmer, and had retired from Campbell's Soup after 17 years in plant service. He was a member of the McClure United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home in McClure with the Rev. Robert Damschroder officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, McClure.
