Funeral services for James Ray Williamson, 87, of 501 Allen Ave., Findlay, were held at Hartley Funeral Home in McComb with the Rev. Doris Shover officiating. Burial was in McComb Union Cemetery. Williamson died Aug. 29 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He had been a patient there since being involved in a single-car accident on Trenton Ave August. 18. He was born Nov. 27, 1899, in Wood County to Francis and Catherine "Belle" (Ray) Williamson. He married Myrtle Slaughterbeck on Sept. 16, 1920 and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert C. of Bowling Green; a daughter, Mrs. Ervin (Thelma) Schenk of Clyde; six grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Williamson was a retired farmer in Custar where he had lived for 80 years.
