Obituary: Carol J. Myers, 62, died Sunday, Jan. 3 at DeKalb Memorial Hospital, Auburn, In. She had been a resident of Garrett, In. since 1957. She was born in Deshler on Dec. 12. 1930. to the late Roy and Esme (Rayle) Rutter. She married Lloyd Myers In Deshler on Dec. 7, 1957, and he survives. Mrs. Myers was a homemaker and a member of Garrett Presbyterian Church. Also surviving are a daughter, Sue Church, of Marshfield, Wis.; a son, Todd, of Garrett; two brothers, Herb and Don Rutter, both of Deshler; three sisters, Mildred Powell and Ilean Phillips, both of Deshler, and Lynn Line, of Elida; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Jan. 6 at McKee-Mlles Funeral Home, Garrett. Burial was in Christian Union Cemetery in Garrett.
