Litha H. Notage, Napoleon, formerly of Malinta, died Friday, Jan. 18, in her home. She was born Dec. 26, 1915 in Kentucky, the daughter of Gar and Armilda (Sparks) Risner. In 1949, she married Bob Notage, who died in 1959. She formerly attended Malinta United Methodist Church. Surviving are her sons, Kenneth Smith, of Wauseon; daughters, Mrs. Eldor (Virginia) Huner, and Norma Behnfeldt, both of Napoleon; brothers, Wayne Risner of Chicago, and Robert Risner of Glen, Miss.; sisters, Mrs. Sam (Cleo) Reinholdt, of Holgate, and Mrs. Darrel (Gertrude) Eberle, of Bellevue; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were her son, Donald Smith; brothers, Merdie and Foster Risner, and sisters, Eva Koehnke, Maybelle Healy, and Dora VanSeiberook. Services were held Jan. 21 in Walker Mortuary with Rev. Roger Renee officiating. Burial was in Hoy Cemetery, rural McClure. Preferred memorials are to the Henry County Chapter of the American Heart Association of a charity of the donor's choice.
