Charlotte Fitch, 78, of Swanton died Friday evening, July 26, at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee. A former Grand Rapids resident, she was born in Deshler on Aug. 6, 1912 to Grant and Molly (LaVeck) Ross. On April 8, 1931, she married Marion L. Fitch, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 24, of this year. Surviving are three sons, Marion F. of Toledo; Louis J. of Swanton, and Gary L. of Whitehouse; two sisters, Lucille Shockey of Wauseon and Ellen Rohdy of Deshler; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, in the Wright Funeral Home of Grand Rapids. Interment was in the Heath Cemetery near Colton.
