Lillian V. Fox, 93, of Oaks Convalescent Center in Lima, died Jan. 20 at the center, where she had lived for 17 years. She was born Nov. 9, 1893 in Hamler to Perry and Elizabeth (Stevens) Rayle. She married Harvey A. Fox on Jan. 9, 1913, and he died Jan 13, 1968. Surviving are two sons, Perry and Ray, both of Lima; and two daughters, Mrs. Neva Purnell of Findlay and Mrs. Irene Greenler of Defiance; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnston of Alger. Mrs. Fox lived on a farm in Henry County most of her married life. Funeral services were Jan. 22 at Mast and Mock Funeral Home in Defiance with the Rev. David Gabel officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Township Cemetery.
