Lilliam M. Bishop, 89, of Deshler, died Sept. 2 in Blanchard Valley Hospital. She had been in failing health the past four months. She was born March 26, 1898 in Henry County to George and Emma (Foust) Rader. She married Amos Bishop on December 13, 1917, and he died Feb. 14, 1970. Surviving are two sons, Merle of Hamler and R. Gene of McComb; a daughter, Erma Parker of Deshler; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren A son, Joe, preceded her in death in 1945. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Deshler and the Deshler Senior Citizens. Funeral services were held at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home with the Revs. Gene Landon and Delmar Young officiating. Interment was in Sugar Ridge Cemetery.
