Mable Montague, 96, of Deshler and formerly of McComb, died at Oak Grove Manor, Deshler. She was born Oct. 24, 1884, in Hancock County, to Marion and Ethleen (Travis) Rader. She married Riley Issac Montague on April 3, 1909 and he died Aug. 19, 1919. Surviving are two sons, Wendell of Dallas, Texas; Winston of Bourbon, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Ethleen Dubbs, Deshler; 20 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; 38 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Montague was a member of the Church of Christ of McComb for 78 years and was the oldest living member of the church. Funeral services were at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler; the Rev. Robert Butts officiated. Burial was in McComb Union Cemetery.
