Floyd Cecil Rayle, 83, of Deshler, died Saturday, Jan. 1, in his residence.
He was born Dec. 8, 1916, in Deshler to Cecil J. and Ethel E. (Shank) Rayle. He married Joy Dangler on Sept. 4, 1941, in Deshler, and she survives.
Mr. Rayle was a WW II veteran and a life member of DAV Chapter #30 in Napoleon. He was a maintenance man and machine operator at Dow Chemical in Findlay, retiring in 1982. He also worked at the Rossford Ordnance Depot and for the Deshler Municipal Utilities.
Also surviving are his son Daniel (Linda), of Findlay; daughter, Mrs. Paul (Jennifer) Keeran, of Pandora; twin brother, Rev. Cloid O., of Houston, TX: and sisters, Helen Lutz, of Deshler; Imogene Lewis, of Deshler; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 5 in the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Deshler, with Pastor Don Krieger officiating. Burial was in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Bride Hospice or to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
