Hannah S. Plassman, 84, formerly of Napoleon Township, died Saturday afternoon, June 22 at Northcrest Nursing Home Napoleon. Born in Henry County on April 25, 1907, she was the daughter of Henry and Mary (Hoops) Meyer. On Aug. 9, 1936, she married Fred Plassman, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 1976. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon Township and its Women of the Church group. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Cramer of rural Napoleon; two grandchildren, Ann Glass and Mark Cramer; two stepbrothers, August Schwiebert of Napoleon and Rudolph Schwiebert of Hamler; a stepsister, Emma Haake of rural Deshler; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 25 in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township, Rev. E. David Gensch officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.
