Paul Joseph Pilewski, 65, of Bowen Road, toledo, passed away Jan. 19 in the Medical College of Ohio Hospital. He is survived by his wife Joan (Freeman) formerly of Deshler; and five sons, John, Jerry, James and Paul Jr. all of Toledo, and Joseph of New York City; eight grandchildren and four brothers. He retired from hydraulic Division of the General Motors Corp., in July 1989 after 22 years. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the Marine Corp. A Memorial Mass was held at the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament on Jan. 23. The body has been donated to the Medical College of Ohio for scientific research.
