Victoria Hoffmeyer, 94, of Bowling Green, died Jan. 30 in Wood County Hospital. She was born in Bedford, OH., on Nov. 2, 1895 to Carl and Emma (Popp) Schwan. On July 18, 1917, she married Paul H. Hoffmeyer, and he preceded her in death on May 1, 1940. Surviving are sons, Rev. Carl Hoffmeyer of Bowling Green, and John of Kaufman, TX.; daughters, Alma Gross of North Olmsted; Lois Miskimen of Burns, WY., and Victoria Lehenbauer of Deshler; 27 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. She was an active member of Deshler's Peace Lutheran Church and a former member of Weston's Grace Lutheran Church and its Mission Society. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 2 in Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Lehenbauer officiating. Graveside service and interment were in the South Euclid (Ohio) St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Carl Hoffmeyer officiating.
