Comment: Emma was the daughter of Hamilton Pratt and Lura Mead. Both parents died before Emma was 5 years old and she went to live with her aunt and uncle, Lucinda (Mead) and Judson Emery who raised her to womanhood. On Sept. 20, 1879 she married Knott Reid, the son of Thomas Reid and Almira Crockett. She and Knott raised four children; Guy, Horace, Mathew and Arthur. On Jan. 21, 1921, Emma remarried to widower Franklin Jennings who had been married to Knott Reid's sister, Mary. Jan. 21, 1921 Emma remarried to widower Franklin Jennings who had been married to Knott Reid's sister, Mary.
