Arthur J. Ohlrich, 81 of Route 2, Deshler, died of a heart attack April 5 at Defiance County. He married Martha Marksch on May 1, 1932, and she died June 26, 1973. Surviving are two sons, Raymond of Hamler and James of Deshler; a daughter, Mrs. Orville (Wilma) Buenger of Hamler; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Ohlrich retired in 1968 after 25 years with the Railway Mail Service. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Deshler and the Lutheran Brotherhood. He had also served many terms on the church board. He was a member of the Deshler Sportsman Club. Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Roger Marlow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
