Odessa Jane Oberlitner, 93, of 440 S. Pine St., Deshler, died at her home. She was in failing health for the past 2 1/2 years. She was born Feb. 11, 1888, in Hoytville to henry and Margaret (Rader) Smith. She married Henry Wolford Oberlitner on Jan. 8, 1908. He died on June 30, 1953. Surviving are a son, Edwin of Venedocia; a daughter, Mrs. Orlo (Adah) Wilcox of Deshler; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Grace Fenstimaker of McComb; and a brother, Mark, of McComb. Mrs. Oberlitner was a member of the Church of God, Deweyville. She lived in Hancock County before moving to Deshler in 1908. Funeral services were held at Bloor Funeral Home, Deshler, the Rev. Raymond Birtcher officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
