Obituary: Donald "Bud" Conn, 54, of 327 E. Maple St. Deshler, died after suffering a heart attack on his way to work. He was born March 13, 1927 in North Baltimore to Floyd and Jenny (Osborn) Conn. He married Emma Jane Bates on Nov. 22, 1947 and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ronald, of Deshler, and Robert of Deshler and Robert at home. Mr. Conn was employed at the Quadco Rehabilitation Center of Stryker. He was a World War II Army veteran. Funeral services were held at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, the Rev. James Shotwell officiating. Burial was in Wingston Cemetery, Wood County.
