Graveside services were held Sunday afternoon at West Belmore cemetery for Rev. Ray M. Miller age 93. Services were conducted by his son the Rev. Bertrum Miller. Rev. Miller died August 22 in Richmond, Virginia. There home was in Bradenton, Florida. He was born Oct. 1, 1896 in Henry County near Bemore to Anthony and Ellen (Brink) Miller. he married Mary Koons on June 1, 1924 in Harrisburg PA and she survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Julia F. Merrill of Benton Harbor, MI, Mary J. Vennart of Richmond, VA., Marthajean Roberts of Lake City, FL., two sons Rev. Anthony Bertrum of Bel Harbor, FL and Richard of Largo, FL in addition to Rev. Bertrum Miller. Rev. Ray Miller served in the United Church of Christ churches in Belle Fourche, South Dakota; New Market, New Hampshire; Meriden, Conn. Norris, Tenn. and Upper Sandusky, OH. prior to his retirement in 1966. After he retired he moved to Florida and served as an intern pastor in several churches. His brothers and sisters who lived in this area were John and Bert Miller, Elizabeth Wilson, Mary Boyer, Anna Bremer, Minnie Butler, Sadie Smith, Ella Trott, Ruth Coldren and Louwina Rader of Grafton, Ohio.
