Joseph Marchal, 71, of Bryan, Texas died in Bryan. He was born Aug. 5, 1909 in New Bavaria to Lucius and Clara (Westrick) Marchal. He married Cecilia Rothman on Aug. 16, 1938. She died in 1966. Surviving are two sons, John of Milton, Fla., James of Lima; three daughters, Suzanne Field of San Diego, Calif., Mary Marchal and Judith Hall both of Bryan, Texas; a brother, Alford of Defiance; four sisters, Marie Woodson and Grace Marchal both of Toledo, Sister Clarice Marchal of Adrian, Mich., Frances Bryne of Marco Island, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler. Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, near Deshler. A rosary will be recited at the funeral home.
