Helen Peper, 90, of Holgate died Nov. 22 at Napoleon's Northcrest Nursing Home. Born in Hamler Aug. 25, 1901, she was the daughter of Western and Fannie (McEwen) Hall. She married Edmund Peper, who preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1949. She had been a homemaker and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Holgate and its Helping Hands. She graduated from Adrian College as a dietician and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Surviving are two sons, William of Holgate and Edmund G. of Napoleon; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was a stepson, Robert, in 1974. Services were held Nov. 25 at St. Peter's in Holgate with Rev. Dana Bjorlin officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Snyder Funeral Home of Holgate handled the arrangements.
