Iva Naomi Anderson, 93, of 131 E. Elm Street, Deshler, died at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, in Belmont Nursing Center, Perrysburg, after a 20-month illness. She was born March 5, 1898, in Wood County to John C. and Anna E. (Mellott) Kline. She married Mario L. Anderson on Oct. 20, 1918, and he died Nov.27, 1961. Surviving are her son, Delbert of Deshler; two daughters, Irene Staib, of Walbridge; Mrs. David (Virginia) Campbell of Defiance; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Perry Kline of Deshler; and Harry Kline of Wapakoneta. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker. She was a secretary-treasurer for the Women's Fellowship of Church of the Brethren, Deshler, where she was a member for 84 years. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, at Church of the Brethren, Deshler, the Revs. Eugene Yenser and Kris Hoffsinger officiated. Burial was in McComb Union Cemetery, McComb.
