Mrs. Minnie Rohrs, 88, formerly of Hamler, died in Oak Groves Nursing Home in Deshler, where she had been a patient since Jan. 26. A lifelong area resident, she was born in Monroe Township on Nov. 25, 1892, the daughter of christopher Kruse and Marie Michaelis. She married Carl A. Rohrs on Feb. 17, 1916 and they farmed in Monroe Township. Mr. Rohrs preceded his wife in death on March 15, 1963. Mrs. Rohrs was a member of Hope Lutheran church near Hamler. Surviving are one son, Fred of Route 1, Napoleon and one daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Margaret) Meyer of Deshler; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother Fred Kruse of Hamler; and one sister, Mrs. Hilda Botjer of Deshler. Arrangements were made by The Wesche Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Norman Norden were held in Hope Lutheran Church near Hamler. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
