Mrs. Ethel F. Kline, 79, rural Deshler, was dead on arrival to Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, at 5:25 p.m. last Wednesday, following a serious illness of two weeks.
She was born May 4, 1899, in Wood County, to Clifton and Charity (McMaster) Emahiser. On June 22, 1918, she married Hobson Kline and he died March 7, 1974.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anita Rader, rural Deshler; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Marvel Haley, Custar; Mrs. Doris Lefel, Kent; Mrs. Bernice Crouch, Deshler; Mrs. Leo (Irene) Meloche, Monroe, MI; three brothers, George and Charles, both of Fostoria; and Dexter, Dearborn, MI.
She was a member of Jackson Grange, the Findlay Art League, Deshler Art League and Custar United Methodist Church.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, the Rev. Ronald Woolley officiating. Burial was in Deshler Woodlawn Cemetery.
