Florence Irene Hagen, 88, of Deshler, died Dec. 13, 2008.
She was born Oct. 17, 1920, in McClure, to Arthur and Jessie Margaret (Myers) Rayle. On Sept. 1, 1940, she married Raymond F. Hagen, and he survives.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, in Hamler, and formerly of Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Deshler. She was a past member of the Patrick Henry School Board, the WELCA of the churches, and Wide-A-Wake Club, in Hamler.
She is also survived by her sons, Kenneth (Jane), of Lewis Center, OH; David (Caren), of Findlay; James (Judy), of Perrysburg, and Bruce (Kathy), of Columbia Falls, MT; daughters, Kathleen (William) Militzer, of Brighton, MI; Linda (Eugene) Gierke, of Seward, NE, and Melissa (Paul) Yarian, of Perrysburg; sisters, Janet Parthemore, of Woodbury, PA, and Carolyn Powell, of Leipsic; brother, Donald Rayle, of Troy, OH; 19 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Warren Rayle, and a grandchild.
Memorial services were held Sunday, Dec. 28, in St. Stephen Lutheran Church, with Pastor Sharon Stonerock officiating.
