Patrick A. Miles, 15, of 142 E. Crocker St., Fostoria, apparently drowned in the McComb Community Swimming Pool on June 12. He was pronounced dead in the emergency room at Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was taken after the accident. He was born Dec. 11, 1974 in Fostoria to Kenneth D. and Delilah M. (Hickle) Miles. His father survives in Tiffin His mother and stepfather, Delilah M. and Robert T. Wagar, survive in Fostoria. Patrick had just completed his sophomore year at Fostoria High School. He also had attended McComb High School, where he played football, and Hopewell-Loudon High School. He worked part time at the Soap Opera, in Fostoria and at the Hoytville Dairy Queen. He attended Tiffin Apostolic Church. Also surviving are brother, Billy Joe Bethel, of Hoytville; Aaron M. Miles at home; Robert Wagar of Tiffin; sisters, Mrs. Michael (Christina) M. J. Brown of Tiffin; Mrs. Tony (Melissa A. J.) Womack of McComb, and Heather Miles of Fostoria; paternal step-grandmother, Elsa Wagar of Bellevue, and maternal grandfather, Paul Heminger of Gibsonburg. Funeral services were held on June 15, in the family's residence, the Rev. Larry Wagner officiated. Burial was private. There was no visitation. Arrangements were handled by Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria Chapel.
