L. Ruth Jimison, 76, of 603 Poe Road, Apt. 8A, North Baltimore, died May 22 in the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green. Mrs. Jimison was born June 16, 1914 in North Baltimore to John R. and Flora A. (Newlove) McChesney. She married LeRoy C. "Bill" Jimison in October, 1934, and he died October 28, 1948. She retired from RCA, Findlay. She also had worked at the Food Center and Norbalt Rubber Com, both of North Baltimore and the former Staves Five & Dime, W.R. Thomas Five & Dime, Weith's Five & Dime, and Lambright's Grocery, all in North Baltimore. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Paul (Joyce) Wensink, of Deshler, and Mrs. John (Annis Kay) Apple, of Castalia; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. James United Methodist Church, North Baltimore, the Rev. George Reed officiating. Burial was in the Ten Mile Cemetery, Portage Township, Hancock County.
