Funeral services for Robert D. McDougle, 67, of Route 2, Deshler, were held at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Cottrell officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. McDougle died Oct. 29 at his home He was born April 5, 1920, in Townwood to Everett and Bernice McDougle. He married Hilda Kraegel on June 5, 1945 and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Paul of McClure and Dale of Deshler; two daughters, Mrs. Ken (Sandra) Jackman of Hamler and Janet McDougle at home; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Pauline) Aller of Findlay. McDougle was a field superintendent for the Ohio Department of Transportation from 1971 until his retirement in 1985. He also was a farmer.? He attended Belmore United Methodist Church.
