Norman Gene Lotz, 52 of Grelton, died May 9 in the Henry County Hospital, Napoleon. He was born Sept. 18, 1937 in Kenton to Ralph and Ruth (Polling) Lotz. His mother, now Ruth Murrey, survives in Grelton. On, May 21, 1956, he married Alleynne Amos, who died Feb. 5, 1983. On Sept. 9, 1953, he married Sarah Spence, and she also survives. Mr. Lotz worked at Standard Metal, Malinta. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, rural Deshler. Also surviving are sons: Chad of Holgate, Joel of Payne, Josh of Grelton and Tony at home; daughters Mrs. Lupe (Deena) Arreguin of Malinta, Mrs. Doug (Jennifer) Austin of Napoleon, and Brandy and Bree both at home; stepsons Richard Fleming of Bristol, Ind., Chris Fleming of Toledo and Britt Fleming of Grelton; stepdaughters Mrs. Dennis (Stephanie) Simpson of Middlebury, Ind., and Mrs. Eddie (Kathy) Skelton of West Unity; nine grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren; brother James of Grelton and sister Mrs. James (Susan) Travis of Grelton. Funeral services were held May 12 at Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Lehenbauer officiating. Burial was in Grelton Cemetery, Grelton.
