Mr. C. A. Leuders died in Toledo and his wife had preceded him just a week before. Mr. and Mrs. Leuders were well known in Deshler, he having been engaged in the boot and shoe business about two years previously, and who was burned out in the big east end fire. They were formerly of Defiance. Death in both instances is said to have resulted from smallpox.
