Lloyd Beavers, 74, of McClure, died April 3 in his residence. He had been in failing health for several months. Mr Beavers was born Feb. 29, 1916 in Richfield Township, Henry County, to Seldom James and Lottie (Lowmaster) Beavers. He married Iona P. Smith on Jan. 6, 1937, and she survives. Also surviving are daughters; Mrs. Dick (Bonnie) Fenstermaker of Deshler, Mrs. Ward (Connie) Rhoads of Delta, Mrs. I. William (Mary Jane) Okuley and Mrs. James (Dottie) Tobias both of Holgate; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother James of Toledo, and sister, Mrs. Delbert (Ruth) Kler of Emmett, Idaho and Jean Scott of Hudson, MI. Mr. Beavers had been a longtime truck driver for the former Koppenhofer Brothers, then Imco Poultry in Deshler. He was a member of Custar United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held on april 6 at Rodenberger Funeral Home in McClure, the Revs. John T. Schlicher and Dwight Norris officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Mcclure.
