Mrs. N. Swartz Laid To Rest
Dies In Chicago After Seven Week Illness
Last rites for Mrs. Mildred A. Swartz. 43, wife of Noble Swartz, Chicago, were held in the Dubbs funeral home at 2 p. m. Sunday. Rev. Charles Rex officiated. Burial was in the Woodlawn cemetery.
Mrs. Swartz died at her home In Chicago last week Wednesday following a seven-week illness from jauntice and pneumonia. The body arrived in Deshler Friday and was taken to the Dubbs funeral home where it remained for services.
She was born in Deahler on May 4, 1904, a daughter of John and Mayme (Lyle) Egbert. She was married to Noble Swartz in Deshler in 1924.
Besides her husband and parents she is survived by two sons, Wallis, 13, and Lyle, 11.
Mrs. Swartz was a member of the Deshler E. U. B. church.
Those attending the funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Baker, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Lyle, Mrs. Eva Lyle, all of Toledo; Mr and Mrs. R. D. Lyle and son Bill of Lima; Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Arthur, Mr. and Mrs. Zern Clevenger, all of Findlay; Mr. and Mrs. Don Snook, Garrett, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Duwayne Swartz, daughter Dana and son Bud, Willard; Mr. A. A. Johnson, Shiloh and Mrs. Calvin Butler and son LeRoy of McComb.
