Michael Robert Leonard, 55, of 231 Northeast Ave., Deshler died of natural causes at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Luke's Hospital, maumee. He was born Aug. 10, 1935 in Toledo to Robert and Lelah (Cupp) Leonard. He married Melissa Baker on Dec. 24, 1980 and she survives. Also surviving are five sons, David of Findlay, Anthony of Carey, Joseph, Andrew and Aaron all at home; two daughters Elizabeth Foster and Mrs. George (Lisa) Freeman both of Findlay; and a brother, William of North Baltimore. Mr. Leonard previously had been employed at Norbalt Rubber, North Baltimore, where he was president of Local 480 United Rubber Workers. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, the Revs. Joseph Schmelzer and Barry Weyant officiating. Burial will be in Jerry City Cemetery.
