Mr. Kerstetter was killed by a flying piece of iron at the Ohio Rolling Mill. The iron weighing scarcely a half ounce, was thrown from a pair of enormous iron shears with a velocity of a bullet from a firearm. It pierced his breast and struck the heart causing instant death.
