Obituary: Mrs. Minnie Ellen Behrens, 75, Deshler, died Friday at her residence after a serious illness of three weeks. Born Jan. 20, 1888 in Deshler, she was the daughter of Nelson and Martha (Kayle) Gray. She was married to John E. Behrens in 1910 and he died in 1954. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. William Budd and Mrs. Ralph Fry, both of Deshler; Mrs. Edward Zimmerman, Miss Ruby Behrens and Miss Betty Behrens, all of Grand Rapids, and Elizabeth, at home; a son, Edward, at home; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Behrens was a life resident of Deshler. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Dubbs Funeral Home. The Rev. Irene Tanner officiated with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
