William J. Kindle, 50, of 1760 Ostego Pike, Hoytville, died Feb. 5 in the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. Mr. Kindle was born Feb . 27, 1940, in Hancock County to Lester L. and Katherine T. (Rader) Kindle. He married Nancy K. Knepper on Feb. 20, 1959 and she survives. Mr. Kindle was employed 15 years at Deshler Products and retired in 1986. He was a member of Hoytville United Methodist Church where he was a former Sunday School superintendent, and was a member of the Hoytville Fire Department and past president of the McComb Lions Club. Also surviving are his son, Richard A., of Hoytville; daughters, Mrs. Pamela K. Williams, of Hoytville, and Mrs. Alan (Lori J. ) Sheeks, of Deshler; four grandsons; brothers, Charles of Swanton, and Roger of Jerry City; sisters Mrs. Doris Johnson of Liberty Center, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Apple, of McClure, and Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Vanzee, of Portland, Ore. Funeral services were held Feb. 7 in the Hoytville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Vernagaye Sullivan officiating. Burial was in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
