Kathleen C. Clayton, 73 of 241 N. Park St., Deshler died Sun. morning at her residence. Mrs. Clayton was born May 14, 1914 in Deshler to Edward and Catherine (Sullivan) King She married John @. Clayton on June 15, 1938 and he died Jan. 12, 1987. Surviving are three daughters, rs John (John) Cain of Tempe, Ariz., Sue Gerken of Deshler, Mrs. Tom (Jeanne) Gerdeman of rural Napoleon; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Clayton was a homemaker, and for 12 years, clerk for Bartlow Township trustees. She was a member of Immaculate conception Catholic Church, Deshler. Funeral services were to be held on Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Joseph Schmelzer officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, was in charge of arrangements.
