Obituary: Ruth T. Kline, 72, of 540 W. Maple St., Deshler, died April 23 at her residence. She was born Sept. 9, 1914, in Henry County to Frank and Olivia (Jones) Firman. She married Thomas Kline on June 22, 1936, and he died June 16, 1977. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Nancy) Gratz of Pandora, and Mrs. Phyllis Grim of Defiance; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Streeter, Ottawa; and a brother, Frank Firman, Defiance. Mrs. Kline had retired from Deshler Products. She was a member of the Deshler United Methodist Church and the Profit and Pleasure Club. Funeral services were held April 26 at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home in Deshler. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Deshler Emergency Medical Services or to a charity of the donor's choice.
