Obituary: Darrell (Dago) Young, 70, a retired Baltimore & Ohio Railroad car inspector, died at 9:15 a. m. Monday in Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. Born Nov. 12, 1892 in Deshler, he was the son of Levi and Mary (Jameson) Young. Surviving are his wife, Nellie; son, Harley D., Toledo; his father, Levi, of McComb; a step-daughter, Mrs. Betty Doyle, Akron; step-sons, Robert Ellerman, Akron; Fred and Paul Ellerman and Maurice Whidden, all of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Irene Waddell, North Baltimore; a brother, Lance, Garrett, Ind.; three grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren. Services were at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Dubbs Funeral Home. The Rev. Aaron Sharp officiated with burial in McComb Union Cemetery. In official Henry County correction #636, August 4, 1942, Harley Darrell Young and his father Levi Daniel Young, both signed affidavits stating that the former was born on November 13, 1892, and that his full name was Harley Darrell Young.
