Ralph M. Jennings, 95, of 124 E. Yates Ave. in Findlay, died Feb 3 at his residence. He was born July 29, 1891 in McClure to Allen Austin and Rachel (Blair) Jennings. He married Bertha Farison on March 31, 1926 and she died Nov. 5, 1982. Surviving are a son, Allen of Findlay, a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Conway of St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jennings retired from farming in 1956, and moved to Findlay from McClure in 1978. He had also been an assistant railroad agent for the Toledo-St. Louis & Western Railroad, McClure. He was a baggage man for the National Express Co. with the railroad between Toledo and Delphos. He was also a parcel post employee with the railroad between Toledo and St. Louis. After his retirement, Jennings had worked for the Nationwide and Henry County Mutual Insurance Co. He had been secretary-treasurer of the McClure Elevator Co. for 33 years. Jennings was a member of the McClure United Methodist Church. He was the church treasurer for 18 years. He was a veteran of World War I. Funeral services were Feb. 5 at McClure United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Damschroder officiating. Burial was in Hockman Cemetery. Rodenberger Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
