Kenneth Hashbarger, 47, of Route 1, Malinta, died May 29 at Defiance Hospital. Born in Henry County on Oct. 2, 1939, he was the son of Harold and Margaret (Brown) Hashbarger. He married Rose Labie on Aug. 4, 1962, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, David and Daniel, both of Grelton; one daughter, Deanna, at home; three brothers, Lee of Lima, Robert of Leipsic, and Ned of Virginia Beach, Va.; and one sister, Marian Pierce of Gulf Breeze, Fla. A maintenance supervisor at Campbell Soup Company's Research Department in Napoleon. He served in the U. S. Army. Services were held Monday at Walker Mortuary in Napoleon with the Rev. Steve Clymer, McClure Christian Union Church, officiating. Interment was in Marion Township Cemetery.
