Laura Margaret Howe died at her home near Custar. She had been a teacher in the public schools. She had taught in Roanoke Classical Seminary and spent nerly two years off the Pacific coast teaching. She married Prof. D. N. Howe and leaves five small children. She had been ill with throat trouble or bronchitis and also conumption.
