Three persons were drowned by the capsizing of a row boat in the Maumee River above the dam near Grand Rapids. The dead are M. H. Bryan, Oliver J. Holbrook and his step-daughter, Ethel Florabell Cokahnour. Mrs. Bryan who was in the boat at the time of the accident clung to the side of the upturned craft until she was rescued.
