Lela Gertrude Holder, 93, formerly of Deshler, died Sunday, July 16, in the Lutheran Home, Napoleon.
She was born Aug. 3. 1901, in Deshler to Lee and Lettie (Blake) Burling. She married D. Lee Holder on July 2, 1918, and he died to 1972.
Mrs. Holder had been a volunteer at the Northcrest Nursing Home, Napoleon.
She was a member of the Napoleon Senior Center and an auxiliary member of the VFW, American Legion and Moose Lodge, all of Napoleon. She was a 50-year member of the former Napoleon Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are three grand-children; five great-grandchildren, and three great-greatgrandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her son, Robert; a grandson, and brothers, Carl and Edward Burling.
Funeral services were held July 19 in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with the Rev. Isaac Johnston officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
