Hester "Peg" Schooner, 79, of 3038 Roundhead Road, Deshler, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green. She was born Oct. 3, 1911, in Toledo to Silas and Bessie (Harger) Pickering. She is survived by a brother, Donald Pickering of Findlay; and a sister, Mrs. Darrel (Mary) Tussing of Deshler. A funeral service will be hld at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Weyant officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, West Leipsic.
