Obituary: Funeral services for Glen Martin, 76, Leipsic, were held Feb. 14 at McCrate-Love Funeral Home in Ottawa with the Rev. Dennis Coates officiating. Burial was in West Belmore Cemetery. Martin died Feb. 11 at Putnam Acres Care Center, Ottawa where he was a resident. He was born Feb. 24, 1910 in Belmore to Otto and Ida (Hickerson) Martin. He married Mary Magdalene VandeBussche on Dec. 2, 1930, and she died April 10, 1973. Surviving are a son, Glenn,of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Olive Ruggley, Dayton. Martin had been a marshal at Belmore for many years.
