Mrs. Doris J. Beam, 66, of Belmore died Feb. 25 at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born April 22, 1914 in Belmore, to Rufus and Effie (Huffman) Newell. On Sept. 2, 1934, she married Fred W. Beam, and he died in 1954. Surviving are two sons, Arthur J. of Avon Lakes,and Virgil E. of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Mrs. William (Betty) Griffith of Belmore and 12 grandchildren. Mrs. Beam was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Deshler, Senior Citizens, and the Belmore United Methodist Church. Funeral services were at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler; the Rev. Paul Sellers officiated. Burial was in West Belmore Cemetery.
