Obituary: Services for Eldon Keith Gordon, 71, of 2600 Pineapple Ave., Melbourne, Florida, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, at the Davis Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with the Rev. Dan Wade of the Harbor City Baptist Church oficiating. Burial was in the Melbourne Cemetery with the Harbor City Masonic Lodge of Eau Gallie, Florida, conducting the graveside rites. Mr. Gordon passed away at 2;30 a.m. Sat., April 5, at the Brevard Hospital after a long illness. He was born Jan. 28, 1904 in Princeville, Illinois to Fred and Mary (Hall) Gordon. He married Hortense Wooley, formerly of Deshler on March 4, 1934 and she survivies along with one son, Gerald Keith Gordon of Winter Park, Florida, one daughter Mrs. Randy Lynn Bieberstein of Orlando, Florida; 5 grandchildren, one brother, Harold of Deshler, and one sister, Cleo McClish of Findlay. One sister, Mrs. Lois VanTassel preceded him in death. Mr. Gordon was a retired supervisor for the Commonwealth Edison of Chicago, Ill. and he had lived in Melbourne for 9 years. He was also a 32nd degree mason.
