Obituary: Mrs. Cora Ward, wife of Thomas Ward, deceased, passed away in Defiance hospital at 2:15 a.m. Monday, July 25. They had resided in Deshler for several years prior to Mr. Ward's death last October. Children surviving are: Harvey, Royal and Homer, Defiance; Howard, Reading, Pa.; and Mrs. Ted (Ethel) Clevinger, Waterloo, Ind. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 27. Burial was in Independence cemetery.
