The corner absolved the Defiance county fair board from responsibility in the fatal shooting of Roy Ginter, 13, son of Mrs. Harry Gillespie, of near Hicksville. A bullet from a clogged gun in a shooting gallery at the Hicksville fair hit the boy. The boy was watching a dog and pony show near the gallery when the accidental shot pierced his heart, causing death in minutes. Ralph Lamborn of Glouster and Richard Mason of Shawnee, shooting gallery proprietors were released folling the autopsy and inquest that followed the fatality.
