Arnold L. Sunderman, 80, of Oak Harbor and formerly of Deshler, died in his residence In Deshler on Friday, Oct. 8. He was born In Henry County on March 25, 1919, the son of Henry and Mary (Helmke) Sunderman. He married Elda Rosebrook and they were divorced. He married Dorothy (Wilhelm) Junk on Sept. 30, 1969, and she survives.
He was a lifelong farmer and managed the Wild Wings Marina in Oak Harbor for about 10 years retiring in 1993. He was a member of the North Baltimore Eagles and Immanuel Lutheran Church of Deshler.
Also surviving are his sons, Norman (Carolyn), of San Angelo. Tex; John (Karen), of Deshler, and Robert (Ruth), of New London; daughter Mrs. Ed (Sharon) Schultz, of Wapakoneta; stepson, Larry Junk, of Bullhead City, Arlz.; brother, Raymond, of Deshler; sister, Mrs. Gehardt (Laura) Gobrogge, of Hamler; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 12, in Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Pastor Mark A. Bauer officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetary.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lutheran Church or Henry County Hospice.
